- White cardstock or standard printing paper
- Scissors
- Hole puncher
- Ribbon or string
- Optional: Laminator & laminating sheets
- A cooperative pup
How To
- Download free printable then print. See step-by-step instructions below for free printable!
- Cut out the tag along the heart shape.
- Optional: Laminate or tape to tag to last longer.
- Use a hole punch or poke a hole at the top of the heart.
- Add ribbon or string through the hole.
- Ta-dah! You're finished, take a few cute pics of the cutest beanie baby!
Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Download & Print the Tag

2. Cut Out the Tag
Cut along the heart shape, keeping the front and back connected if you chose the folded version.

3. Optional: Laminate or Tape
If you want the tag to last longer (or survive drool!), laminate it or cover it with clear packing tape.
We used our laminator machine for this project & we used our 4x6 laminating pouches,
If you have a larger dog and need to print out a full page then these laminating sheets are perfect!

4. Punch a Hole
Use a hole punch or carefully poke a small hole near the top corner of the heart.

5. Add the String or Ribbon
Thread ribbon, string, or elastic through the hole. Tie it loosely around your dog’s collar or harness.

Final Step: Dress Up Your Pup!
Attach the tag and watch your furry friend transform into the cutest Beanie Baby around!
