Dirt playdough Insect

We love these bug packs from Amazon and have soooo many ways to play!

How To
  1. Pour dry ingredients into a large bowl
  2. Add food coloring and cooking oil in the center of bowl
  3. Add water and stir to form playdough
  4. Knead well (add flour, if dough is sticky)
  5. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months!
Construction playdough

If you are boy mama and your little one LOVES construction toys like mine, check out our valentines-construction post! These are seriously the CUTEST construction toys that were gifted to our son.

Tips
  • Mix slowly for a smooth and soft consistency.
  • Use hot water but not boiling water to activate cream of tartar. Adults should handle this step.
  • If your dough is runny, let dough rest for a few moments to allow salt to absorb the moisture then if needed, add additional ¼ cup of flour at a time.
  • If your dough is dry, add a tablespoon or two of water to soften back up.

Storage
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months! Don’t forget to label the date.
  • Kneed back before each use, if needed.
  • If you see mold, throw it away immediately!
